Patrice O'Neal's new stand-up comedy album, Mr. P, is seventy four minutes of original material from the regular on the Opie & Anthony radio show and roaster at the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen. "If you want to understand what comedy is supposed to sound like, you have to listen to this. If you want to understand what a comedian is supposed to sound like, listen to this. If you want to listen to somebody who just can't stop opening up about what he thinks of himself, and what he thinks of you, then listen to this album." - Colin Quinn 2011.
2012 collection of previously unreleased live recordings from the Jazz vocalist. Anita was known for getting into a contest of virtuosity and inspiration with her ace sidemen on stage. This collection of unreleased prime-period performances finds them battling in brilliant fashion on 'My Funny Valentine', 'You're The Top', 'Varsity Drag', 'The Man I Love' and many more.
There has never been mistaking Sinead O' Connor for anybody else. A voice born to break as many hearts as windows, as tender as it is lethal. The face, simultaneously that of ocean-wide-eyed angel and shaven-headed warrior queen. And the spirit, courageous in its conviction, undaunted by controversy and fortified with endless reserves of resilience. Sinead O' Connor is that rare thing in popular music: a complete one-off. From her first breakthrough hit, 1987's Mandinka , to the multi-platinum international success of 1990's I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got with its unforgettable number one version of Prince's Nothing Compares 2 U , from her fearless genre-crossing forays into Irish folk and roots reggae to her collaborations with artists as diverse as Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack and The Chieftans, O Connor has trodden a unique path to become the most iconic Irish female artist of the past 30 years. There is no one like Sinead O Connor. There is only Sinead O Connor.
Lest the world dare forget who Sinead O'Connor is, it s about to be reminded once more. 25 years after her debut, 1987's The Lion And The Cobra, she returns with How About I Be Me (And You Be You), her ninth studio album and as showstopping a performance as her silver jubilee deserves. Produced by long-term collaborator John Reynolds, its ten tracks play like an encyclopaedic definition of O' Connor's oeuvre: songs about love and loss, hope and regret, pain and redemption, anger and justice. 'I kind of realised I've spent a lot of my life as an artist being told what I should be,' says O' Connor of the title. 'Being told you should be this, you should do this, you shouldn t do that. You get to a certain age when you realise no, it's perfectly OK for me to be me, thank you very much, and you to be you. But it s very much an Irish thing. It s really a comment about Ireland and what it's like to be an Irish female artist, and particularly this Irish female artist.'
Here are 38 ballads, funky classics and more from these Philly-soul legends: the hits Love Train; Back Stabbers; Use Ta Be My Girl; I Love Music; For the Love of Money; Put Your Hands Together; Livin' for the Weekend; Forever Mine; Time to Get Down; Lipstick Traces; Message in Our Music; Give the People What They Want all the biggest and best!

Album Summary
King marks a new beginning for O.A.R., while also paying homage to their past. It is the seventh studio effort in a career that began with the band's high school recording, The Wanderer. O.A.R.'s last studio release, 2008 s All Sides, was their most successful record to date debuting at #13 on the Billboard Top 200 and featuring the Certified Platinum single "Shattered".
"When I first started writing songs I was young and hadn't experienced many things, so I chose to write from the perspective of someone else, the Wanderer," notes Marc Roberge. "Now, after having traveled the world, gotten married and had a child of my own, I felt like it was time to bring the Wanderer back and finish the stories I started over ten years ago."
With King the band blends their more traditional reggae tinged roots with new musical elements they picked up over their fifteen years performing together. The new tracks contain moments of uplift ("Gotta Be Wrong Sometimes), shimmering guitars ("The Last Time"), world beat ("Gotta Live"), populist fervor ("Fire," "Dangerous Connection"), narrative prowess ("Almost Easy") and even hip-hop ("We Made It - Interlude 1", "King") Heaven", the record's first single, marries O.A.R.'s island-vibe with a driving beat. "I don't want to go to heaven if I can't get in," sums up the entire album's theme. Be the best version of yourself you can be, and make no apologies for it.
The Deluxe package contains 4 Bonus Tracks and a Bonus DVD, featuring two acoustic performances, as well as track by track interviews with the band and an introduction to the album King.
