2007 digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of British Pop/Soul vocalist Paul Young's second solo album, originally released in 1985. The bonus CD contains eight tracks featuring four extended remixes, two non-album studio tracks and two live cuts. The Secret Of Association contains the hit singles 'Everything Must Change', 'I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down' and the massive 'Every Time You Go Away'. Edsel. 2007.
2008 digitally remastered and expanded two CD 25th Anniversary edition of the British Pop/Soul vocalist's debut album featuring a bonus disc containing 10 tracks including remixes, B-sides and live cuts. With the release of this debut album in 1983, Paul Young was immediately hailed as an intriguing synthesis of the old and the new. Blessed with a classic Blue-Eyed Soul voice, Young pays homage to R&B tradition with respectful covers of Marvin Gaye's 'Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)' and Booker T and the MG's' 'Iron Out the Rough Spots'. 25 years on it still sounds fantastic - Paul's own songs are quirky and New Wave-influenced while his choice of covers is rather interesting. He covers Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' and three songs by Jack Lee (of L..A.'s Power Pop band The Nerves) among them the exquisite hit single, 'Come Back and Stay'. In retrospect, No Parlez is unmistakably a product of the early '80s but Young's voice and those inescapable pop hooks remain timeless. 21 tracks. Standard jewel case pressing. Sony/BMG.

Album Summary
2011 collection from the late Rock vocalist and former frontman for Sad Cafe and Mike & The Mechanics. Paul formed his first group Johnny Dark & the Midnights in 1962 whilst still at school, and very quickly made a name for himself as a frontman and lead singer so much so that following an appearance at a local hall, he was invited to join the now legendary beat group The Toggery Five. He eventually went on to form Sad Cafe in the '70s and scored a few hits. In the latter half of the '80s, he joined up with Paul Carrack as co-lead vocalist in Mike & The Mechanics, the band formed by Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford. This collection features the best of his material recorded outside of his higher profile bands. Escape Music.
