Album Summary
There's plenty to appreciate on M.I.A.M.I. It features "That's Nasty" (Remix) which Pitbull spits alongside Lil Jon & Latin rap titan Fat Joe. Also present is his breakout single - "Oye" from the 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack which rolls off the disc like a digital Brazilian carnival. Elsewhere, Bull shows the ability to ride over pimp fabulous tracks like Miami's Finest' & the cautionary "Hustler's Withdrawal" a reference to the dark side of Miami's cosmopolitan, party-friendly atmosphere. "We get nothing but Tony Montanas down here," he said, referring to Al Pacino's legendary Scarface character. "And not everyone can stay on top - there are more failed hustlers than there are successful ones." If it seems like Pitbull is cramming a lot onto his debut, well, he is.

Album Summary
2011 street release. The 25th volume of the Da Bottom series featuring Pitbull and some of Florida's hottest artists on new independent tracks and features. When the Southern-flavored party rap called Crunk took over urban radio in 2004, Miami rapper Pitbull decided it was time to seek stardom. The way Pitbull sees it, 'crunk ain't nothin but bass music slowed down'. Miami bass music that is, the kind Pitbull grew up on.
