Hey all what up this ya boy Da Prince Roderick. Anyways I’m just sitting her chillin’. I know I haven’t been on this site like I used to but that’s all gonna change. My new music, the new me is revealing itself to the world. Back in the day I had a single that achieved to be at its highest number which was #18. I would love to get all of my songs in the Top 20 or even Soundclick’s Top 10. I love you all I have been a supporter on this site under various accounts. This time it’s the real me and I wanna let all of you see who I am and all that I can be.

From Manhattan in my mind and MC's Meadow in imagination, I love to take time out to play with my friends and fam. They are both important to me and I mostly write about friends (including fam), love, and everything I can think of. I always dreams of all that I can never be and wades in insercurity. Whenever I need time to think I go to the MC House, the house you'll learn about in the near future. My friendship and love is Supernatural meaning to be just like magic. Roderick Torroll Hollingsworth Jr. a.k.a Duke b.k.a Holliwood
Born: July 25, 1991 on a hot summer night
Roderick was born to the parents Denise Ramsey (biological-mother) and Roderick Hollingsworth (step-dad) Larry Thompson (biological father). He grew up spending time with his step-dad, whom he calls his real dad since he was always there for him.
As a baby he was always fond of music, he would sing little lullaby's and add his own little parts to them. Through early childhood he started writing his own little compisitions. They we're never much but to him and his friends they meant the world. They even had their own little band 'Kids'. It was the name of it. They were only in toddlers. It was in '95 and his friends were off to Headstart and he went straight to first grade. He was too smart to enter Headstart. But do you think that stopped Roderick from his childhood band. It did end the band, and thusfore a solo artist was reformed.
He went to the graduation of his friend in '95. The song they played was 'Hero' by Mariah Carey whom he was very fond of. She later became his idol and he would alwasys mimick her high notes. Every song she song he would always listen to it. He would always perform at his own birthday parties singing his fave songs (mostly Mariah Carey songs).
As time went own when he became 8 in '99 he heard her latest hit songs 'Heartbreaker and 'Thank God I Found You' he began writing his own songs which would mean something. The first he wrote at that time was 'Friendly, Spaniel, Cupert' which was like a Pop Rock type song which he later recorded on his 'Roderick Hollingsworth EP'. Along with 8 other songs he wrote plus the five by Mariah Carey he had an album. It was released on RMD Music, but he never signed with them. His mother didn't approve. By this time his Dad Roderick was out of his life and he had had a nervous breakdown. Non-simliar to the breakdown Mariah Carey would later have. He had once again met up with his childhood friend, which name is Darius Butler. But now they hardly talk in the near future which is now.
He continued to record and write his own songs. Never was posted to an album just were songs he did because he grew up to love singing and writing. Then when Mariah Carey made a comeback with her 2005 album 'The Emancipation of Mimi' he too had recorded and an album late '05 and early '06. It would be released once he again find a label to represent him. 'Roderick' was the title of the album, since he couldn't find a label he decided to invent his own therefore he thought of MACnRTH Records with little success the label went out of business.
The future he started looking once again for a label. He found one, but had no transportation to again be in a studio. Now he is currently getting CD's made at Disc Makers to show everyone he is independent. He now resides in Cleveland,MS and is writing for singers and doing backup vocals. He co-wrote Cheyenne's 'Hanging On' and Vanessa Hudgens 'Say Ok'.
