Artist Biography

Born in a small town in South Wales called Mountain Ash where the only thing to keep me entertained was to sing at every opportunity, whether it was singing whilst cleaning the dishes, in the shower or walking down the street. From an early age I knew that singing and creating music was the path for me. I was part of the Mountain Ash Choral Society singing as a soprano. Since then I’ve been gradually building a profile for myself. I remember the day I wrote my first song, using just a couple of chords on the guitar and sang all the words that I had building up inside, now there’s no stopping me. I’ve taken myself from a shy girl to a performer and it’s an incredible journey, one to sing about. I am at my happiest when I’m in front of an audience sharing my creations.brbrI take my inspiration from personal experience and listening, watching all that surrounds me. I love listening and being influenced by other musicians, those that have passed on and those that still keep doing their thing. My music style is a mixture of acoustic folk, with a twist of melodic rock and a spec of country/pop. Well I guess the best way to describe it is that it’s unique to me.
