Biography
Rose Falcon is the daughter of singer songwriter Billy Falcon and hairdresser Myla Falcon. Her early years were spent in a studio apartment in New York City, although the family moved to New Jersey when she was old enough to attend school. In 1987, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and died two years later (Inspiring the song "Best Friend"), forcing Billy to raise Rose himself, both of whom traveled around the country as part of Billy's music career. They moved to Nashville when Rose was ten years old. Inspired by the loss of her mother and constantly feeling out of place throughout middle and high school Rose began writing poetry at a very young age which eventually lead to songwriting.
In March 2003, Falcon signed to Columbia Records and released her debut album, Rose Falcon , at the age of 19.
