" A chill-out world of etnojazz fusion ", could be a way to place or define the main musical esthetics.Played and performed in several music festivals, art bienals, jazz and new music encounters and similar events, as well as concerts with his quintet, "RUI AZUL INDEX", in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium and Holland, including in jazz clubs/bars circuits. Lived in Holland from 1979 'til 83, where he played in places like Paradiso, Melkweg, Bim-Huis, B14 Jazzclub, Dizzy's, Sunship Jazzbunker, de Kroeg's, insered in different formations, and played with the major dutch and portuguese jazz musicians.
