As an artist who has grown up in the music business, Brandon Anthony Sciuto has seen a "mountain of change." In 1979, his uncles Tony and Michael Sciuto(who were the younger brothers of Brandon's father, Mario St. Michael Sciuto) were signed by Epic Records because of their "incredible sense of natural pop abilities." The elder Sciuto (very much influenced by his older brother, Mario, and pop icons The Beach Boy's, The Beatles, and The Four Seasons) later toured the world reaching HUGE success in Japan. Our family "Sciuto Sound" is a power pop/folklure/country/organic live sound that penetrates the soul.
The Artistopia recordings were done over a span of 1999-2006. The songs were done live, with Brandon and his uncle producing some, and some are produced in LA by Robb Boldt. Mr. Boldt is a well known pop producer from LA who has worked with many of today's leading pop artist's. The sound that Brandon was looking for was 50% completed with the popular LA producer, but something wasn't complete in his heart of hearts. Brandon has recently found out what was lingering.
It was the reasons he was singing and writing about...trying to place himself in the market instead of putting his faith somewhere else...THE FAITH AND DESTINY THAT HE DISCOVERED AFTER HAVING HIS SON, KODA JACKSON SCIUTO. Before these days, he wasn't respecting himself...in other words he was too "cocky." Brandon also took some time off to educate himself enough to be a "provider for his young family. He is a mortgage broker, notary, and Realtor working along his drummer Attorney Marc L. Shaprio...You can see the "day gig" of Brandon A. Since the new management in 2007, The Brandon Anthony Band which is the local 50% cover band - 50% original music band name that is used locally in SWFL...Brandon has written 5 new songs that are to be released in 2008. Brandon is hoping to work with a new producer in 2008 through Executive Producer, Adrian Rivera.
Brandon is the main writer of ALL of the new material to be released.brThe change in his life all stemmed from back in June of 2004, Brandon turned 31, and was married to a beautiful young lady from Costa Rica, Donna Alexandra. They had a son, Koda Jackson, on October 26th 2005.
Currently, Brandon is working on The Brandon Anthony Band in the vein of "Switchfoot" "U2" and "The Dave Matthews Band" setting is playing well in 2008. The band just won honorary "Man of the Year" in SWFL presented by N Magazine and The Lukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The Brandon Anthony Band consists of TJ Jones on the bass, Marc Shapiro on the drums, and Steve (from Lords of Cool) on lead guitar...all while Brandon sings lead and plays acoustic guitar.
All in all...Brandon Anthony Sciuto is on a mission to find peace of mind, be a better husband/father/son/friend to others, and stay forever humble...all the while writing 'kick ass" music...focused on "pushing the envelope."
