Biography
Sharissa (born 1976 in Brooklyn , New York ) is an American singer. She released a debut album "No Half Steppin" on Motown Records in 2002 which yielded two charting singles, and recorded a second album "Every Beat of My Heart" for Virgin Records for a 2005 release. Sharissa is currently gearing up for her 3rd independent release "All or Nuth'n".
Background
Sharissa sang as a child both in Brooklyn where she was born and in the Bronx where she grew up. She went on to become a member of the group Triple Dose. In 1995, she joined the group 4Kast and released the album Any Weather as part of the group.

Sharissa resolved her relationship with Motown and moved to Virgin Records.
