With the same amount of slap-happy energy that Sicko was known for on their last three albums, You're Not the Boss of Me ends their career with a bang instead of a dud. With their final release, it seems that these guys are paying tribute to their rock & roll lifestyle ("An Indie Rock Daydream") along with their usual coverage of day-to-day Seattle happenings ("Mike TV"). But then there's all-out silliness with the blatant Misfits rip-off "My Tribute to the Misfits," done in a playful, non-mean-spirited way. And to end things off, they do a note-for-note rendition of Iron Maiden's "Wrathchild," which shows off their ability to relive their adolescent metalhead days. It's tragic that the wrath of Sicko has come to an end, but their memory remains as an act who called it quits while they were on top of the indie-rock heap.
