Artist Biography

T.Michaels was born in Atlanta, Ga... aka Hotlanta.. bka Tha Durty South. T has been singing since he was 4 yrs old and has also been writing music since then. Being around influential Music Producers and Artist such as KB & Spec, Focus, TLC,Dallas Austin,Sam Salter,Keri Hilson, Jai Black(Metropolis),Joi,Jagged Edge, Swizz Beatz, Daron from 112, Double R, Arnell Star,Vega,7mile,Six,Johnta Austin,BrianMichael Cox,Bobby Valentino,Tiny from escape, Stannis smith ,Ivy Redd, Sharliss Asbury,and Ga from ABC ( Aother Bad Creation), has been the building blocks for his career.

In 1998 T joined a 5 man group called "Spectrum" that was seeking management from Tyra Williams( managed "Sol" the Atl/Jive Records R&b group). Later that year "Spectrum"changed there name to "Last Note", while attending Morehouse College...... to there surprise a record deal was right around the corner but internal differences split the group apart ..leaving T to figure out his own path. During that time T began writing songs while struggling to finish College as well as work a 9 to 5. By 2004 luck struck giving T an opportunity to shop one of his songs to RCA recording Artist Penny and the song was recorded and played on Atlanta's number 1 pop Station Q100.5 for several months thanx to Dylan and Jeff Miles.Since then T has been trying to get his music out to the masses " It's not that I can't do it ,Its just that I havent met the right ppl that see my vision and want to take me on."The music industry is very hard to get into unless you know the right ppl fortunately T has been able to stay around positive ppl that make it easy for him to work with. Now that T's working with KB & Spec(Hit producers of Whitney Houston "My Love is Your Love" album and formerly of the Motown group Basic Black) this new look is his own project, hoping that it will be an album set amongst Legends.
