Artist Biography

We are a 5 piece band based in Surrey, England. We were formed in April 2001 by the singer and lyric writer Mel Spicer, with the Drummer Mark Potter and Bass player, Ian Spicer and have now been jined by Dan Bowtell on guitar and Leonie Avenant on the keyboards and BV's. Leonie has had some success in her own right with songs that she has written, currently being aired on South African radio.

Over the past couple of years we have played regularly at many venues including outdoor festivals and events such as 'Guildfest', which is one of the biggest music festivals in the South of England. We have also recieved airplay on national radio and performed a live session on The Tom Robinson Show on BBC6 Music, followed an interview with the X-rocker himself. This year we have giged continuously since the end of February mainly on the London circuit and have put on over 25 live performances in 5 months

We have just signed a non-exclusive deal with O'Neil the surf wear company to have our music included on their latest surfing DVD'Deep Blue Ocean Competition' and we are in negotiation with O'Neil again to have another track on an international TV show which is being put together right now. We also have a download single deal with E3 Records and are being promoted by Chromuim Records in the run up to single launch on October 17th. We have also had chart entries into the unsigned chart on extraplay.com and have been played on a number of internet and FM radio stations including BBC6 Music, Kent Radio, 96.4 The Eagle(Surrey)radio and Delta Radio to name a few.
