Artist Biography

Tashonna Demure is a R&B, pop, and rock fusion artist, an innovation, with a musical style so unique considered to be a new sound and musical movement.

The 20 year old singer began singing and writing at thirteen hoping one day to do it professionally. Her knack for both was not the only thing that motivated her but her noticing she was not the average looking girl. From an early age, Tashonna Demure knew there was a mystery behind her look. It was the look of a star and she knew people would take her seriously just by that.

She continued to sing and write and take inspiration from her favorite artist such as Toni Braxton, Aaliyah, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and more. Later she stumbled across her own voice and unique styles. Shortly after she met with ProjectBeatz, producer Ken Pile who was impressed with Tashonna’s vision helped Tashonna Demure put this in actuality on his already “not so everyday-ish” beat production. That led Tashonna to co-produce “U Don’t Understand Me” which immediately came into play. Ken Pile continued his production and became Tashonna’s producer.

As time went by Tashonna’s vision and ProjectBeatz production created a slot in the music industry that only Tashonna Demure fills. For her dark vibe, mystery tracks, simple but catchy melodies, Tashonna Demure just about fits a cross between Aaliyah and Ashanti and her tone though strange, reminds several of Heather Headley. Still, she is nothing like the three.

The young artist is currently in the studio working on recording her first album.
