Q. At what age did you realize you wanted to become a music artist and why?
ANSWER HERE I did realize to become a music artist at the age of 24.Because after composing 400 tracks I had no good buyer to buy my tracks. All the people I came across with never offered any good deal. So I decided to rehearse and to become a music artist (a rapper) my self. Thank God my tracks were not bought, it would have been the greatest mistake of my life.
Q. Most music artists have that special someone or thing that influenced their decision to do music. Did anyone or something in your life play a major role in influencing you to go into the music business?
ANSWER HERE What did influence me into the music business is in two dimensions: (a) To change the trend at which Hip Hop is fading with my unique lyrics and rhymes. (b) The money aspect. I mean, an artist can make so much money that not even a Professor, a Medical Doctor, or an Engineer can make that kind of money in his or her life time. To tell the gospel truth, I have abandon my career as a Physical and Health Therapist all because of Hip Hop and the money in music business.
Q. In terms of the music, which major artist(s) influenced your style and why?
ANSWER HERE Although am a new independent artist who is seeking for a record deal and not yet exposed. There is no any major artist whom my style influenced because am not yet out.
Q. With so many independent artists trying to make it, what makes you stand out from the competition?
ANSWER HERE What makes me stands out from the competition is my style of rap, lyrics and unique rhymes called the rhyric rap. (A rhyric rap is a rap filled with good lyrics and more rhymes). I don’t imitate style, rap or lyrics in any form. In recent times rappers are using lyrics from Tupac shakur and notorious B.I.G which makes the competition monotonous. In terms of rap am so lyrical and rhymical. The content of all my raps is very well composed. I just don’t rap, I rap on the subject involved. Am the only music artist who has composed 600 tracks on earth and aiming to compose up to 1000 tracks. The only rapper with extraordinary lyrics and rhymes. The only rapper who composes in tens and in twenties. I will there fore like to throw a challenge to the world, if any one has lyrics than I do and can rhyme more than me the person is welcome to the challenge.
Q. Music industry professionals are quick to say that being an artist means to gracefully fit a marketable niche in the industry.If you were offered an opportunity that asked you to be something you are not, would you do it to get your foot in the door?
ANSWER HERE I will not be some thing am not, just to get my feet in the door. Because I should always be my self and not the other way round, all because of an opportunity that will let me be something am not. It will be the greatest mistake I have ever done. I know my time will come just as any other music artist time came.
Q. Making music is one thing, selling it is another.What types of strategies do you use in promoting your artistic work and getting it heard by the proper professionals?
ANSWER HERE The strategies I will use to promote my artistic work is the media: radio, television, newpapers, magazines, internet and participating in musical shows and concerts. That reminds me, a special thanks to the management of Artistopia for promoting me to be among the popular artists, and for allowing me to promote my self on their Webb Site for free. In fact, artistopia is the best music site for an independent and a signed artist to promote his or her artistic work to the world. Though is pretty difficult to penetrate the music industry when you are not from where it originates. I know my strategies are good enough to promote my artistic work.
Q. In regards to wheeling and dealing, how important do you feel business knowledge is to making it in an industry filled with much heartache?
ANSWER HERE I feel business knowledge should be making it in an industry filled with much heartache in terms of planning, signing of good artist and good promotions.
Q. Let's fast forward to 5 years from now. What advice would you offer to struggling independent artists?
ANSWER HERE My advice to struggling independent artist 5 years from now is; they should never give up in life and in the music industry. The competition is tough but with well composed tracks, good lyrics and rhymes they can penetrate the music industry.
Q. Most successful artists are involved in charitable organizations that stand for a cause that hits close to home. In that regard, once you reach success, what charitable cause(s) would you like to be involved in and why?
ANSWER HERE Once I reach success I will like to get involved in an Orphanage Organization to help the needed. Because it is among my life time plans and I hate to see people suffering especially children. I will use this opportunity to say thanks to the management of Artistopia for a great interview.
