Terry Poison is an Israeli electro (music)|electro band. It consists of Louise Kahn (lead vocals, guitar), Anna Landesman (synth bass) and Idan 'Bruno' Grife (main producer, computers and synth guitar).
Overview
A mish mash of young musicians, songwriters and sound makers Terry Poison was brought to being in the underground scene of Tel Aviv by the collaboration of Louise Kahn and Bruno Grife.
Their Debut album "Terry Poison" was released in Israel of which 3 of the albums tracks made it number 3 and 1 on all national radio charts. Selected by Depeche Mode to open for them in 2010 they went on to record ‘Buzz on the Bell’ theme tune for TV program ‘Dolls’ clocking over 10 million hits worldwide on youtube. Touring through US, Russia, Europe they have played at festivals such as SXSW, Sziget, Berlin Pride, Fusion.
On return to their Tel Aviv in 2011 to create they started to work on a 2nd album. At this time there were line-up changes which included Petite Geller moving to a solo career. In the summer of 2011, Anna Landsman, Louise Kahn and Bruno Grife moved to Berlin, Germany and started working on their next album, looking to create a new and more developed electric Terry Poison sound whist touring alongside session musicians Or Edry, Roee Cheled and most notably songwriter and drummer Daisy Palmer (Goldfrapp, Eyes On Film).
‘Upright’ their new single will be released in Israel in June 2012.
Terry Poison is known for their outfits and outrageous stage presence feature in fashion media such as Vogue, recently sponsored by Fuga Italy and continue to not only be recognized by the fashion world but also work with young and upcoming fashion designers through their support of their stage costumes on tour.
