The Color Spectrum consists of songs inspired by the colors of the spectrum. Casey Crescenzo completed the EPs with various producers, while traveling the US, documenting every step of the process. The collection features collaborations with several producers and musicians, including Manchester Orchestra and Brendan Brown from The Receiving End of Sirens. Following the end of his tenure as guitarist, vocalist, and effects operator for The Receiving End Of Sirens in May of 2006, Casey Crescenzo began to write, record, and compile what would become "Act I: The Lake South, The River North" - his debut EP. Now with a fully formed band, The Dear Hunter returns with this dynamic full-length, written, produced, and orchestrated by Crescenzo. Following up where Act II left off Act III is more melodic record with the heavy parts heavier, and the soft parts more serene.
