Biography

The Mac Band was an Contemporary R& B|R& B musical ensemble|group from Flint, Michigan|Flint , Michigan , formed by four sibling|brothers as the primary singing|vocalists .

The group's first album , The Mac Band featuring the McCampbell Brothers included record producer|production by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds|Babyface and members of Atlantic Starr , and one of the tracks from the album, " Roses Are Red (Mac Band song)|Roses Are Red " reached chart-topper|#1 on the United States|U.S. Hot R& B/Hip-Hop Songs|R& B record chart|chart and reached the Top 40|Top 10 in the UK Singles Chart . Several additional singles were released from this album, with a couple of them becoming minor R& B hits.

Their second album, mostly songwriter|written by Gary Taylor (singer/songwriter)|Gary Taylor , was not as successful.

Charles McCampbell now runs a music studio in Duncanville, Texas|Duncanville , Texas .
