Over twenty years ago Big Beat reissued garage rock legends the Music Machine’s classic 1966 debut 'Turn On' on vinyl. And now we present that same groundbreaking album in a gloriously expanded 2-CD format as 'The Ultimate Turn On'.

Famed for the two-minute heart-stopping avant-rock hit ‘Talk Talk’, the Music Machine are revered amongst aficionados of 1960s rock’n’roll. An intelligent, hard-edged group with a sound and image to match, fuelled by the quirky songwriting genius of Sean Bonniwell, 'The Ultimate Turn On' collects together the complete recordings of the original, definitive line-up of the band.

Disc 1 of the set includes the differing mono and stereo versions of 'Turn On', along with the four non-LP singles issued on the band’s first label Original Sound. Disc 2 consists wholly of superlative unissued material, including rehearsals, demos and alternate versions of tracks, all originally intended for the second album that the band would have released on Original Sound, had they not broken up in the spring of 1967. As an even more enticing bonus, Disc 2 ends with footage of the band’s riveting performance on a local Los Angeles TV show.

To top it all off the booklet features tons of photos and memorabilia plus an in-depth career retrospective based on fresh interviews with all the members of the band plus producer Brian Ross, making 'The Ultimate Turn On' a consummate and unmissable package.

The Music Machine recorded for Warner Brothers released under the name Bonniwell Music Machine. This has been extremely hard to find, until this excellent 20-track Sundazed reissue. This contains the entire contents of the 1968 Bonniwell Music Machine album (some of which had actually been released on the Music Machine's 1967 singles for Original Sound), plus various rare singles and a couple of unreleased tunes. This Sundazed release has been completely remastered and has 20 tracks.
