Album Summary
Out-of-print in the US. Single disc pressing of their sophomore ambient/chill out classic from Alex Paterson and Kris Weston that featured the mammoth single "Blue Room", which clocked in around 40 minutes! By entering the UK Top 10, the track was the longest ever to make the charts! It was recorded with former PiL bassist Jah Wobble and keyboardist Miquette Giraudy, as well as guitarist Steve Hillage. Seven tracks including 'Towers Of Dub', 'Majestic', 'Close Encounters' and the aforementioned 'Blue Room'. Universal.
2009 collection. There's always been two quite contrasting sides to The Orb's centrifugal epicentre Dr Alex Paterson. One is the purveyor of hook-ridden songs laden with vocal toppings or memorable samples, as heard on last year's delightful collaboration with Youth and Tim Bran, The Dream, which Alex describes as 'Pop'. The other is more serious, focusing primarily on the sound itself, noticeably rearing in the mid-90s almost as a reaction to The Orb's initial success on under-rated masterworks like Orbus Terrarum. 11 tracks.
Digitally remastered three CD reissue of this influential 1991 techno album,. Features the original album on the first two CDs, while Disc Three contains numerous bonus tracks including two versions of 'The Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain...' (John Peel Radio Session and Jim Cauty & Dr. Alex Paterson's Aubrey Mix Mk. II) plus remixes of classic tracks like 'Perpetual Dawn', 'Little Fluffy Clouds', Back Side Of The Moon', 'Outland' and 'Spanish Castles'. Universal. 2006.

Album Summary
Finally released in the US! Includes the Japanese bonus track, 'Let the Music Set You Free'. The Orb, the electronica outfit that virtually invented the genre known as "ambient house" returns with a new album marking a long-awaited reunion between eternal mainstay Dr Alex Paterson & lifelong friend and original sonic conspirator Youth ("Little Fluffy Clouds," Killing Joke). Dream was created without pressure from record companies or the studio. As with previous albums, the basic Orb nucleus is joined by guest singers and players, including System 7's Steve Hillage (Gong), who goes back to the earliest recordings, Battersea toaster-singer Eric Walker aka "The Corporal" and vocalists Aki Omori [Japanese singer who appeared on 2001's "Cydonia"], singer Andy Caine from the W.A.U.! days, and renowned soulstress Juliet Roberts.

2010 three CD collection. W.A.U!. Mr. Modo was the product of likeminded music freaks and lifelong friends Youth and Dr Alex Paterson setting out to celebrate and play their part in the acid house revolution sweeping the UK in the late 80s. In the process, they became two of the most well-known and lastingly influential names to emerge from the whole movement, while the label epitomizes the innocence and questing spirit of the era. The CDs feature the cream of the early W.A.U. releases; a stellar collection of half-forgotten names from the acid house archives (several featuring Alex and Youth). This is where it all started. To accompany this celebration of the label, this must-have, collectors package includes a fold out scrap book poster of press cuttings from the time unearthed from Paterson's personal archive as well as iconic cover art from Jimmy Cauty.
