The Watson Twins' new album Talking To You, Talking To Me is undoubtedly their most ambitious to date. The new album finds The Watson Twins taking a soulful turn à la Carole King, but with a distinct pop edge reminiscent of Feist. The result is a heartfelt nod to their roots, retaining the ethereal harmonies that have become their signature while incorporating a myriad of influences and inspirations. The twins, Chandra and Leigh Watson, along with a band of friends including members of Everest and My Morning Jacket, recorded the album at Los Angeles' famed Fairfax Recordings, capturing the essence of The Watson Twins' extraordinary talents on a record that is at once driving, poignant and beautiful.

Identical twins Chandra and Leigh Watson, veterans of the contemporary folk rock scene in Los Angeles will release "Fire Songs", their label debut full length. The twins are akin to various scenes such as indie rock, new folk, alt-country/Americana and cannot be neatly categorized into one. The Kentucky-born duo count folk, gospel, blues and country as early influences. The album was produced by Russell Pollard and J. Soda (members from various incarnations of Sebadoh, Earlimart, Everest, and Folk Implosion) and is the follow up to the Watson Twins 2006 self-released and critically acclaimed "Southern Manners" EP.

Known and loved by many as the enchanting front-woman for LA's Rilo Kiley, Jenny's vocal and songwriting gifts have continued to blossom at a rapid rate since that band's first album in 2000. Jenny's hauntingly soulful voice, sometimes bursting with buoyant spirit and at other times plaintive and world wearied, is deep, sensual and beguiling. Intricate storytelling and evocative lyrics infuse these songs with a captivating vibrancy but may be knocked sideways by the musical alchemy at play as a result of folk, country, and Southern gospel influences.
