WhytHouse was created by Kevin Perkins and Chris Hale in 2001. It started out with Kevin's (a.k.a Phatkat) studio in a white house located in Kitchener, ON. All songs were produced and created by Phatkat and Chris (a.k.a Plex). The WhytHouse is a unique group that specializes in party vibes and positive messages. They are an urban pop machine that takes pride in creating awsome music that can be enjoyed by all. The WhytHouse is the hottest group to come out of Canada in many years and will prove to be a driving force in the Canadian music scene. The WhytHouse was completed in early May of 2002 with the addition of two new members: Shelley-Ann Cowan (a.k.a Scarlette) and Steve Mcelrea (a.k.a Ste-V). Their unique styles and extensive vocal backgrounds have made them an asset to the group.Taking no prisoners they established their productions as “Urban-Pop” fusing the sounds of RnB,HipHop and Reggae... their music is best described as party vibes with positive lyrics.
Artist Mission
Whythouse has shared the stage with such urban notables as Remy Shand, Shawn Desman, Keisha Chante, Choclair, Maestro and De La Soul. They have also performed at numerous festivals and charity events.
