The Ascendicate (formerly known as the7method) is a metal band from the Triad area of North Carolina, the band features a heavy melodic hardcore style with relentless lyrics that revel in truth.
Band History Formed in 1999 as The7method, they have shared the stage with Soil, Pillar, CYNder, 311, Alien Ant Farm, Disciple, Project 86, East West, Extol, Staple and others. They have also been a part of The Van's Warped Tour and Cornerstone Festivals. Through internet distribution and sales at live shows, T7M independently moved well over 2,500 copies of their CD's, including sales throughout Europe, Australia, Canada, Asia, Israel, and the U.S.

Recorded with Jamie King (Beloved, Glass Casket), the disc showcases T7M's unique blend of metal, rock, and hardcore. The single ‘Still Running’ reached 2 on ChristianHardRock.net, and propelled T7M to the 17 spot in total requests for 2006. T7M’s new release, TO DIE AS KINGS, was produced by Travis Wyrick ((P.O.D., 10 Years, Red, and reveals a more polished and intense offering, complete with soaring melodies, sick screams, and pummeling drumming
. The disc was self financed and has already drawn the attention of major labels. With plans of a national release and touring in the future, T7M is set to stamp their brand of metal on a global scale.
As of 2008, the band as changed their name to The Ascendicate and has signed with major Christian hard music label Solid State Records. They plan to re-release their album To Die As King as their major label debut on February 10, 2009.
