Artist Biography |

|
Scott G, who records as The G-Man, creates music that sounds pleasantly strange yet eerily familiar at the same time.
He performs songs that fit perfectly into late-night radio programs. He writes music tracks that make commercials sound powerful. And he writes songsthat mainstream singers -- even contemporary Christian artists -- like to cover.
Yes, that's right: he works in several styles. “You Are Invited” is electro-pop. "Crazy Time" is pop-experimental. "Doom + Lollipops" is goth/industrial. "Diva Deep Eyes" is ambient-pop. "Paranormal Radio" is trance. “Psycho Choir” is trance & classical.
But rather than a bad thing, he says this is a good thing. The G-Man believes it is a terrific way to keep the music fresh and the mood mysterious. After all, you can go to lots of other artists if you want to hear the same thing in every one of their songs. "You don't always know what to expect with a track from The G-Man," says music writer Janis Amy, "and for a great many listeners, that's one of the biggest pluses about this artist."
Put a G-Man album in your CD player and press "random play." The effect of his album will be delightfully different every time. Soothingly mind-warping music. The rhythms of machines and the melodies of the heart. That describes the sounds of The G-Man.
Artist Mission
As the owner of G-Man Music & Radical Radio, I create radio commercials and music for radio and TV spots. As a recording artist on Delvian Records, my songs are licensed for use in motion pictures and television programming. And, with 60+ remixes of my songs already completed by DJs around the globe, including Matt Forger (Michael Jackson's recording engineer), there are few clubs in the world that have not played at least some of my music.
Music Influences
Moby, Bowie, Martin Fry (ABC), Thomas Dolby, OMD, Plastikman, Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Zappa.
