HI EVERYONE....
Finally some news updates from The Maudlin Hounds here on Artistopia.
A lot of things has happened since we put out our demo songs on this page.
OLD FACTS....
We signed a record deal with Norwegian record company NNP and released our first album “Somersaulting” in June, 29th - 2006.
It was a great day for us because we wanted to release this album years ago. Because of unforeseen delays, we had to cancel releasing it until last summer. We had our release party at a rock festival near where we live the very same day it went out in the stores and did a great show and left the festival smiling from ear to ear. It was a good feeling knowing that the record was out and we made our goals.
SOMERSAULTING.....
The album can be purchased directly from our record company, record stores across the whole of Norway and from the band, The Maudlin hounds. You can also download single/multiple songs or the entire album from the internet. There are many sites for these activities but I-Tunes, Rapsody and MSN Music Entertainment are three alternatives that works very well. You might find our album elsewhere as well.

NOWADAYS...
We're frequently doing shows all over Norway and we will keep doing it until the beginning of December. In early December we're going in the studio to start recording our next album which will be out in March 2008. We don't know the exact release date but March it is. The new album is going to be called Northern Shakes. Great title or what?? 10 songs in all and each is a wrecking boulder.
