Des Mitchell International DJ Music Producer and a nice guy Not many DJ’s can say they have a had a top five hit record in the UK charts, A top three hit remix in the UK charts and a worldwide club number one. Des Mitchell can but doesn’t, he should but won’t and if you ask he'll just smile and tell you a little bit about it all. Celebrating 27 years as a professional DJ and 30 years in the business plus one of the longest DJ residencies (18 years) @ BCM planet Dance in Mallorca. DJ life started back in 1981 when Des was asked to present a demo for an afternoon radio music show for BBC Midlands in UK (reggea - soul - funk - disco) it started as a 1 hour weekly show and through 4 years of hard work it became a 3 hour show with the midlands being treated to what was hot or not plus current information on club life.

1985 and Des went on holiday to Tenerife and fell in love with the sunny lifestyle. He stayed until 1989. A trip to Canada to see a friend and again Des was asked to stick around and joined C.I.U.T. radio in Toronto and stayed for 6 months before returning to Tenerife.... "great place but to cold over in Cananda" Des was asked to Join BCM in 1989 from Tenerife and decided that a 3 day trip over to Mallorca & BCM would be enough... who knew !! Here’s some of the stuff (just a little) and Production info: - Production work on bootleg tracks for D-Zone records Essex 92 (fun days) Resident DJ for Velfarre club Tokyo Japan 1995 & 1998 plus 3 club compilation mix cd’s that sold over 300,000 in Japan.
