The Orange Beach was born in 2005, initially as a kind of jam band. Paolo Broccoli (guitar), Agostino Pagliaro (bass), Maurizio Conte (drums), played in several bands in Campania , spacing from the post punk to the hard rock, from the blues to the funk. They get on their shoulders a long live activity and also several studio experiences, so the guys founded a band in which they combined many different infuences. Therefore, after two or three occasional afternoons of great fun and music, the project Orange Beach took form and in a year they broke out with two demos and they took a 3rd place at MEI Contest 2007 ( MEI is the Meeting of Independet Italian Labels, the most important event for independant italian music industry).
The sound of the band is the result of the mixture of a great love for the improvisation , the post punk music, the psychedelic sounds, the good rock n roll and the soundtracks. Every song is conceived as a soundtrack: from the scenes of an imaginary movie to the music for the Theleme Temple, the tracks are set to act an imaginative curse specified by the title. Most of the songs, in fact, are instrumental and the title is the way to approach the imaginary world of the band. Everything is done without taking itself too seriously: the universe-world is absolutely full of bands that they expect to save rock 'n roll !They have just recorded their first album with the legendary Kramer.The album,Fuzz you,will be released this coming autumn by Second Shimmy and it will be distribuited worldwide by Orchard.
