Spirit of Elijah is Christian rock that rocks, but doesn't sound like Slayer. No screaming instead of singing, even if I wrote a song called, "Make a Joyful noise unto the LORD." We play serious music that is occasionally funny.brJesus, the Living Word of God, is the foundation for my life, and my life is the foundation of my music, this has become more in focus in my latter work, especially my new Rock Opera "The Test of Job."brI try and have both depth and breadth to my music rather than sing the same song over and over again.
Artist Mission
To entertain, to educate people on the Word of God and to educate them about anything else I can think of. I try not to limit myself to one sound, but dedicate myself to make each song I am working on good in its own way.
Music Influences
The sound is influenced by Led Zepplin, UFO, Day of Fire, Tom Petty, the Black Crows, Counting Crows, Sheryl Crow, and occasionaly Pink Floyd
