Two years ago, a group of young musicians gathered in the family garage to start a band. After many permutations, the result was Day of Infamy, which met with some success, including shows at the Whiskey and Hard Rock Live, a single played on over 100-college radio stations and even a four page spread in Blast magazine capitalizing on the youth of the band. But with every seeming success, the band began to realize they were displeased with the direction of their music. They decided to make a change, and with the addition of Mic. Kirkland as lead singer, the band became Through You. A name the band believes pays tribute to their supporters and their fans. Propelled by the strong and sincere vocals of new front man Mic. Kirkland, the band began writing and evolving and it wasn’t long before they were ready for a new recording. With confidence in their new found musical direction, the band flew to New York to record with engineer Mike Watts (Hopesfall) at Vu Du Studios. Out of those recording sessions came a six song EP named Silhouette.is no less commanding.
