Artist Biography

Hi! My name is Tiffany Challe and i'm a singer. I was born in Colombia, South America on July 14th 1985. I was adopted by an American mother and a French father which explains why i have grown up in Paris, France. I currently reside in France.I have been raised in a multicultural environment, having parents with different nationalities and going to an international school for 12 years. I have always had a passion for music since i was a small girl. Watching Michael Jackson perform on television inspired me to learn how to dance just like him. Therefore, dancing was my initial passion. I haven't stopped ever since and I am open to various dance styles.

My innate talent is the rythm i have, my ability to improvise and come up with new dance steps constantly. I wanted to take dance lessons but i did not have time with all the other extracurricular activities i had alongside my studies. Then came my passion for singing at around 10 years old. I started singing in front my family and friends and they were all suprised to hear a pretty voice come out of my mouth! Thanks to my parents, i was able to take classical singing lessons for five years with an amazing american singing teacher who studied at Northwestern University. During those five years, i came a long way in terms of acquiring vocal technique. My voice became fuller, richer and "warm" as people often refer to it. My voice teacher was also my vocal coach when i had lead roles in musical comedies such as West Side Story (maria), les Miserables (Eponine) and Carmen ( Carmen), which were all shcool productions. The experience of going on stage in front of hundreds of people and singing my little heart out was a true revelation to me! On stage was where i felt the most comfortable and singing is what i wanted to do professionnally. My voice teacher believed in me and advised me to apply for music schools in the United states. I was accepted to Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington. My year in the United States was a fabulous experience. I was doing what i loved, that is singing and i was independant as i was far away from my parents. I was part of a show choir called the Singing Hoosiers and we performed popular songs, Disney songs and jazz songs. After a year in the States, i came back to France for several reasons: First of all,i had a French boyfriend that i missed a lot. Second of all, I had doubts about my studies: it was not in my heart to become an opera singer. I wanted to sing my own songs, dance my own way in front of an audience. i needed time to reflect upon where i was headed in life. So i enrolled in university as a psychology major in France. Two years into my studies, i broke up with my boyfriend, which was a good thing as it allowed me to break free from his constraints. He was no longer there to influence me in a negative way. I could finally develop my potential as an artist. I met a composer in january 2006 and have been working with him ever since on songs. he composes the music and i write the lyrics in English. In may, he became my manager because he has seen the potential and therefore truly believes in me. So far, we have done 7 songs together. each song has a style of its own. The song i am the most proud of is Tell me, which is a ballad that reminds me of some of Mariah carey's first songs!! I love her so much! She is a truly talented artist and she has inspired me so much! My objective is to make it as a singer in the United States. i have the American nationality and i will move to New York as soon as I can in order to devote myself to what i truly love: music!!!
