Artist Biography

Thousand Mile Wish is a hard rock/"nu metal" Power Trio hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, and consisting of bassist Steve McPhail, singer/guitarist Mike Lozinski, and drummer Dustin Rogers. Thousand Mile Wish's current lineup was brought it existance near the end of 2004. Dustin and Mike almost by accident got the present bassist, Steve, to climb onboard after their previous bassist, Josh Littlechilds, left due to creative differences. Since then the three struggled to find a singer, finally finding Danny. Danny, while an amazing singer, screamer, and songwriter, was forced out of the band after one too many cancelled practices and gigs. The final decision was to either kick him out or get disqualified, and let's just say they really needed that gig. The first gig with this complete power trio lineup was at their high school's battle of the bands. The band was unfortunately judged poorly, although the crowd (and all of the other competing bands) agreed they did a damned good job. The second gig was held at the Starlite room as part of a Supernova BandWars show. Unfortunately, it was not won by TMW, although the crowd liked them even more than last time. Other gigs have been coming and going, including an acoustic set at their high school again and a show at Sportsworld.
