Xaviera Wins "Best Independent R&B Artist" Award |

Less than four months after independent R&B artist, Xaviera released her debut album; Atlanta Urban Mediamakers awarded her “Best Independent R&B Artist” during their 1st Annual Indie Awards. The album, Sunshine delivers a smooth, soulful blend of R&B mixed with the youthful sounds of today's Pop and Hip Hop. The new album was released under Xaviera's own indie imprint ---Sunshyne Music.
The singer/songwriter is riding high on the success of Sunshine. She has established steady rotation on Urban Independent Radio, airplay in Japan and the United Kingdom, and she in the top ten on Australia’s R&B mp3 charts.
Xaviera, a New Jersey native relocated to Atlanta at age 19 to pursue a career in music. In early 2004, Xaviera founded Sunshyne Music. Working alongside Georgia producer, David Leonard, Xaviera penned all of the songs on her debut effort. Covering the ups and downs of love, Sunshine touches on topics such as new love, infatuation heartbreak, and life after love. Big Dee of 89.3 FM Atlanta says “In every generation, there is one artist that makes you stand up and take notice. Xaviera is this generation’s artist. COP THE ALBUM!!!!”
