The band's third album, Twist of Shadows , was released in 1989. Xymox, without Nooten and Wolbert, left PolyGram to release Metamorphosis (1992) and Headclouds (1993) independently. In 1997 the band's name was reverted to Clan of Xymox; Moorings recruited new live members, besides Mojca, and started touring.
