Yahir returns in 2009 with his 6th album 'Elemental', produced by
Aureo Baqueiro. The album includes 11 new songs composed by some of the industry's best writers including, Reyli, Amaury Gutiérrez, Noel Schajris,
Miguel Luna, Edgar Cortazar, William Paz, Dianne Warren and Aureo Baqueiro, all who have composed music and lyrics that complement Yahir's vocal talent.
The tracks on this album cover a wide range of tempos from ballads to up-tempo songs that combine Latin rhythms never before used by Yahir. These new elements showcase the evolution of Yahir and add authenticity to this newest album. Teaming up with some of the best talent in the industry including Jimmy
Johnson playing bass (James Taylor), Dean Parks on the guitars (Steely Dan) and John Giluntin (Linda Ronstadt), Yahir has put together his most mature effort with this project. The album's mixing was done by Grammy and Latin Grammy Winner,
Gustavo Borner. 'Elemental' is sure to be Yahir's biggest release yet.
