Legacy's release of Music From The North Country in July 2009, the band's career-spanning double-CD anthology, came with a promise of future Jayhawks catalog projects to arrive in 2010. This 2010 Legacy Edition of Tomorrow The Green Grass, personally overseen by Gary Louris and Mark Olson, has been remastered and expanded with several sought-after bonus tracks. Disc 1 features the original tracklisting with 5 additional bonus tracks including non-album b-sides and previously unreleased tracks. Disc 2, The Mystery Demos, features 18 tracks recorded by Olson and Louris in 1992, all previously unreleased and the the ultimate treasure for collectors and aficionados.

But that wasn't to signal the end of Olson and Louris' partnership. The duo reunited for three songs on Olson's 2007 solo album The Salvation Blues, and they decided to continue working together under their own names. An album, Ready For The Flood, was released by New West this past January.

With Olson and Louris currently on the road performing both new songs and classic Jayhawks tracks, the time is right to release the Jayhawks' first-ever compilation. Music From The North Country: The Jayhawks Anthology spans six Jayhawks albums, including their debut on Twin-Tone (Blue Earth) and the five albums cut for American Recordings. Music From the North Country is a single disc career overview put together under the guidance of Gary Louris.

The self-titled debut album from the highly-acclaimed, alt-country pioneers The Jayhawks will be released on May 18th by Lost Highway. The Jayhawks (often referred to by fans as The Bunkhouse album) was originally released in 1986 on Bunkhouse Records, as a limitied vinyl pressing. Fans not fortunate enough to own a copy of The Jayhawks will be happy to know that it will finally be available on CD, MP3 and again on vinyl for the first time in nearly 25 years.

The Jayhawks reissue will include an eight-page booklet with new photos from the recording period and a new essay by Jayhawks co-founder Mark Olson about album producer and then band manager Charlie Pine. The tracks are the original thirteen songs that appeared on the album, including "Falling Star", which recently resurfaced on Music From The North Country: The Jayhawks Anthology in 2009.
