Artist Biography

Mark Dixon (aka Mark David) began his music career at the age of 10 years old, playing such instruments as the violin, drums, and piano. During his earlier years, he was classically trained in violin while performing in a variety of concertos and symphonies. As his interest in music grew, he began to develop his own style of playing in other genres such as jazz, rhythm & blues, pop, and funk. His style of music became heard by rap producer, "Tootie" (who produced hit singles such as 'Wicked' for Ice Cube). In fact, Mark David played keyboards on one of the hit singles from MC Ren's album 'Shock of the Hour", entitled "Same Ol' ***" He is listed as "Fingaz" on the album credit.

Present:
Mark David is a musician, songwriter, and producer. His primary instruments are the electric bass, keyboards, and drum machine. He is currently working on a number of projects in his studio. At the same time, he is developing projects for other artists.

Future:
His plans are to begin performing his songs in Southern California beginning in San Diego, Long Beach, and Los Angeles.
