Trish Thuy Trang, is a very popular Vietnamese American singer and songwriter. Born on December 15 in Saigon, South Vietnam. She collaborates with Asia Entertainment and Triple T Productions. She is currently working on her 5th album, which is soon to be named and released in fall or winter 2007.
Biography Trish moved to the U.S
. a month after she was born in Saigon, South Vietnam. She grew up with her mother, father, sisters, and brother in Sugar Land, Texas, a suburb southwest of Houston, Texas. Later, she and her family moved again to Southern California . As a child, she had a passion and grew up listening to American music all her life and even sang around the house with a microphone to her favorite singers. Trish was constantly singing out loud and had a deep knack and love for music, so her parents encouraged this by enrolling her in piano lessons.
In late 1997, she sent a demo tape to Asia Entertainment, as a promise she made to a friend. Producers at Asia Entertainment were immediately impressed and quickly called her in for an audition. They were amazed at her ability to sing English and Vietnamese with such ease and at her innate musical talent. Soon after Asia Entertainment and Trish was signed to a record deal. She combined her English name with her Vietnamese name, to get Trish Thuy Trang, her stage name.
Trish worked as an official artist in Asia Entertainment from 1997 and became a well-known Vietnamese American singer.
Trish started up her own label, Triple T Productions, in 2005 with her CD single "Without A Trace".
Trish has started Twinkle In The Sky, an online clothing store, in Fall of 2005 with Sue Koh, owner of Jineus Jewelry.
